“Having sold several homes during my business career, this February 7, 2023, sale was by far the smoothest process, shortest timeframe on the market with a closing above asking price.
My sales experience was effortless from reviewing and signing the sale contract to the actual sale. If I had a question, I had an instantaneous response. We set a target date for the house to go on the market mid-January so I could get a few improvements completed in December 2022 – sanding/refinishing hardwood floors and a new carpet installed. During early January 2023, Lori had a photo shoot and prepared a brochure. The house went on the market January 19, 2023, and an offer was received January 22nd with closing February 7th. A second offer was received January 23rd after the Open House events.
On January 24th, Lori convened a meeting with the team, my wife and me to discuss these offers in depth. This was the first time that I have had multiple offers above the asking price. The team meeting brought several differences between these offers to light. At the end of this meeting, we all agreed with my decision. Our closing on the sale occurred Feb 7th.
