Karin Gielen grew up in Northport, New York, a small town on the north shore of Long Island. She attended Harvard University where she played varsity soccer and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree. After college, she worked at a benefits consulting firm as an Actuarial Associate for six years. Once starting a family, she was fortunate to have the opportunity to stay home to raise her three children. Karin was actively involved in volunteer work, including coaching soccer and lacrosse, assisting at the elementary school, and acting as Treasurer for her daughter’s gymnastics team. Professionally, Karin has worked as a substitute teacher, mathematics tutor, and assistant to the IB Coordinator for AACPS.

She has lived in Maryland for 30 years. Karin and her husband Michael have lived in South River Colony in Edgewater for the past 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys watching her sons play soccer, visiting her daughter in NYC, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband on the golf course.

Karin is starting her sixth year on my team and has embraced her career with passion and excitement. She enjoys every aspect of the process from finding the right house for her clients to getting them to the finish line at the settlement table, and we are very fortunate to have her on the Gough Group team!

Kellie Gough grew up in Edgewater, MD and currently resides in Annapolis. Kellie graduated from South River High School and attended Lehigh University. While at Lehigh, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Lehigh College of Business. In addition to earning her degree, Kellie played D-1 Varsity Lacrosse, and was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament team in 2018. She also captained the COACH Athletics Leadership group, organizing fundraisers and events to assist the local town surrounding Lehigh University.

Since graduation in 2019, Kellie has been working with IBM in their Financial/Accounting Consulting division. In her free time, Kellie enjoys traveling, cooking, and staying active by playing lacrosse, kickball, and tennis. Kellie is excited to join the very successful Gough Group at Long and Foster and work alongside her mom!
